Sweet Memories Candy Shoppe opened its door since the spring of 1991. Located across the street from its current location, you could find 8 kinds of salt water taffy, 6 kinds of Jelly Belly Beans®, about 10 kinds of chocolates and a handful of miscellaneous candies. You could only find sweet treats there in the summer. The store moved to its current location in the fall of 1993 and the amount of candy available and the space to house the candy grew and grew to its current size. Now there are 60 flavors of salt water taffy, over 50 flavors of Jelly Belly Beans®, 36 flavors of homemade fudge, 20 gourmet ice cream choices, 2 candy cases full of chocolates, and a big room with candy favorites for kids of all ages.

The Shop on Main, 821 Main St., Oconto, serves Stone Creek Coffee and Piper & Leaf artisan loose leaf tea, bakery favorites, and eight creamy Ashby Sterling ice cream flavors. Owner Lynn Hearley opened The Shop on Main in July 2021 as a coffee shop, gift boutique, and art gallery. Lynn gives local artists and craftsmen an outlet to display and sell their work. The Shop has a vintage industrial theme that accentuates the rich history of the 1930-era building once used as an Oldsmobile dealership. The Shop on Main, located next to Krist gas station, is open from 7 am to 7 pm Tuesday through Saturday and Monday 7am-2pm.

The museum is the area's oldest Belgian farmstead and is dedicated to the earliest know copper tool makers in the Americas. Free admission and no state park permits are required. The Museum will be open 7 days a week from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM daily, with a tour guide on-site to give tours. The museum will remain open through Monday, September 5, 2022. Welcome to a unique piece of American history. Your visit to the Holt & Balcom Logging Camp Museum offers a detailed look at how real lumberjacks lived when virgin pines were the game and lumber barons the hunters.
Location: Take Highway 32 to Lakewood. Go East on County F to McCauslin Brook Golf Course. Go right on Logging Camp Road. Park in the golf course lot. The museum is located behind the golf course clubhouse.
Hours: Memorial Day-Labor Day, Saturday 10am-3:00pm. Special tours may be arranged by calling 715-276-3505.
