Friday, November 3rd thru Saturday November 4th

Join us for a two-day celebration of Edgar Allan Poe. The festivities begin Friday with Echoes of Poe at Farnsworth Library. Explore and seek out characters from various Edgar Allan Poe tales who will share their macabre stories with you. The festivities continue Saturday at the Park Avenue Theatre with a live performance of The Raven performed by students from local area high schools. Next, a panel of judges will announce the winners of our Artwork and Poe-try Contest, the entries for which will be on display at Farnsworth Library during the month of October. Our festivities conclude with The Masquerade of the Red Death. Put the plague out of your mind and join Prince Prospero in his lavish castle for an evening of music, dance, food, drink, games, and more. But it’s more than just any ordinary masquerade ball – prepare to find yourself in an immersive and interactive theatrical experience!
