1st Annual Garden WalkDate: July 14, 2022
Time: 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Passes are $15 per person and are available for purchase at Gillett City Hall or Gillett Public Library. Maps will be provided when the pass is purchased.
Our first walk has 8 sites to visit - each one with its own uniqueness. You’ll find small spaces utilized best for wooded areas for foraging and nature viewing.
- Displays of native perennials with backyard entertaining and water feature
- Perennial show from spring to fall
- Shade-lovers paradise overlooking the lake
- Various species complement the home
- Community area with hardscaping and artwork
- Small-space garden with flourishing annuals and perennials
- Purposeful gardening using raised beds
- Stroll through a nature trail complete with a scenic pavilion
Our after-event will be an opportunity for people to relax and share their experiences during the tour, be provided with educational material from UW-Extension on how to start their own gardening project, how to plant for our zone, preserve over winter, preserve and harvest goods (vegetables, fruits, herbs, seeds), and cooking. Come join us and relax on the outdoor patio or cool off inside! (145 N. McKenzie Ave., Gillett)
