Leadership Oconto County is a cooperative effort of the Oconto County Economic Development Corporation and the UW-Extension of Oconto County. The goal of the leadership program is to build a pool of citizens with broad knowledge of the ideas, issues and concerns faced by our local communities. It is hoped that as the participants become aware of the challenges and the many existing resources they will take leadership and active participation roles in helping to meet those challenges.

Tuition
The cost of Leadership Oconto County is $600 per person. The tuition covers the costs of all sessions including educational materials, meals and breaks, bus transportation on field trips and graduation. Limited scholarships are available based on financial need. Tuition is often paid by the participant's employer. Some of the employers expect individuals to personally contribute a percentage of the fee.
Commitment
To graduate from Leadership Oconto County, a participant is expected to attend all sessions in their entirety including the orientation, all full-day sessions, and graduation. The sessions are held at various locations throughout Oconto County.
